Answer:
The homepage of the demo site mentioned above is created using widgets ( TerraClassifieds Search, TerraClassifieds Categories, TerraClassifieds Latest Ads), there are no shortcodes.
Check all widgets included with Terraclassifieds.
If you are using TerraClassic classifieds WordPress theme with TerraClassifieds plugin make sure the static page is hidden, look for the option in Theme Options -> Layout -> Front page content
